Library Logos

From this page you may download copies of the NEW University Library logos for use in desktop publishing documents and in Word documents. You may also download or get the URL of web versions for departmental Web pages.

Logos for Print Projects

The TIF files below are intended for use in PageMaker and other desktop publishing programs. At a resoultion of 600 dpi, these files are large enough for most needs, and can be reduced in size without significant deterioration. (Be sure to reduce proportionally, to avoid distorting the logo.)

The TIFs have been saved in bitmap mode, so they can be superimposed on other graphic elements and the background will remain visible. (The Communications & Publications Office also has versions of the logo in other formats, and can create versions in different sizes and resolutions; contact us if you need assistance.)

It is also easy to assign new colors to these logos in PageMaker and other DTP programs. Please note, however, that the officially-approved blue for University and Library logos is Pantone 294; equivalent CMYK values for this spot color is 90c 50m 5y 30k. To maintain the Library's branding identity, we advise you to consult with the Publications Office for guidance before changing the logo.
