Services

The UVa Library's Communications Department serves the faculty and students of the University of Virginia by enhancing the quality and effectiveness of Library communications and maintaining a professional and useful Web presence for access to information and electronic collections.

Communications also serves the UVa Library and its staff by:

• increasing the Library's local and national visibility through publicity
• establishing a consistent and recognizable identity in Library communications
• coordinating and producing Library exhibitions
• establishing design and technical standards for Library Web sites
• coordinating the design and development of Library Web sites
• training Library staff in the use of Web authoring and maintenance software
