Technical Services Advisory Group

CHARGE

• take responsibility for decision-making on technical service issues such as workflow and procedures and develop decision-making mechanisms when decisions cannot be made within the group (to include VIRGO clean-up decisions)
• promulgate and maintain procedures and documentation
• maintain tech services web site (e.g., procedures manual, log of decisions and general information)
• coordinate as appropriate with other decision-making bodies (e.g., VIRGO Steering Committee, Circulation Coordinating Committee)
• recommend major policy changes to appropriate groups
